I had my annual "girl's getaway" this past weekend with my mom, aunts and cousins. We headed down along the St. Croix/Mississippi rivers to Fountain City, WI. We stayed in a beautiful cottage up in the bluffs and spent a wonderful weekend shopping, eating and catching up. The nearby towns we visited (Stockholm, Nelson, Alma, Pepin, can't remember the rest!) are so quaint and beautiful. It reminded me a bit of Door County, WI. You can't help but have a smile on your face and forget about all the stressors in your life for a few days. I highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the area.

While I was able to shop at my own pace, eat meals while they were actually still warm, and sleep uninterrupted, the girls got to spend some quality time at daddy daycare. :) Sounds like they had some fun of their own at a corn maze with cousins.
