May-he-co!

We just returned from a wonderful, warm, partly sunny and not necessarily relaxing vacation to Puerto Vallarta.  I say "not necessarily relaxing" because you put a 15 month old near water, busy traffic, breakables, or really anywhere and you are not going to be kicking back for longer than 30 seconds.  We had so much fun, though.  Plane rides went relatively smoothly (4 hours!)...the way there was much better than the way back ... for many reasons.  Keith and I were able to have a date night...actually two (thanks mom and marty!).  Most importantly, we got to spend a whole week of fun together - 24/7!  I have decided that I could really get used to waking up to the ocean (or any body of water) everyday.  And fresh salsa, guac and chips wouldn't be bad either.  :)

No matter where we are, I am really enjoying Chloe's view of the world these days.  She points out everything and it reminds me that I need to slow down and notice all of these "little" things as well.  We feel very lucky that we were able to take this vacation to recharge and forget about "real life" for a week.  We certainly made some great memories that I will never forget!

Now if we could just do something about this winter thing...

  1. I'm having trouble posting, so will keep it short. It's been really nice here lately, so I hope you'll be able figure out how to fix "the snow thing" before we get there in a couple of weeks.
