Weekend away

Is it summer yet?  Man, I am tired of winter.  This week, we are supposed to be getting our (what feels like) 100th snowstorm of the season - arg.  It has reached the time of year when school isn't so exciting anymore, all of our indoor toys are "boring" and sisterly fighting has increased.  We all need some fresh air ASAP!

Luckily for us, we were able to enjoy a weekend in Wisconsin Dells with my family a week ago, so we pretended that it was nice out for a couple of days as we swam and went down waterslides (indoors, of course).  Chloe amazed us with her bravery and Annalise kept us laughing with her silliness, and we just simply enjoyed being in the company of our family who we don't get to see all that often.

It wouldn't be a "typical" vacation for us without at least one disaster, however.  Within a few hours of arriving in the Dells, Annalise tripped on her sandals and fell in to a cement step.  Despite a swollen, purple cheek and a black eye, she really enjoyed her weekend.  Her face looks worse now than it did a week ago, actually.

I had big plans to take lots of pictures.  Unfortunately, when we got into the waterpark, I realized that it wasn't such a good idea to bring my camera in there unless I wanted to ruin it.  No thanks.  I did manage to take a few (not so great) photos in our room.
