The Great Minnesota Get-together:
We braved the record crowds at the state fair and enjoyed a sampling of all of our favorite fair foods - pronto pup, french fries, deep fried pickles, french crepe, roasted corn, cotton candy, lemonade, and bacon on a stick (yuck - Keith's choice). Unfortunately, our overly full stomachs would not allow for cheese curds and sweet martha's cookies...we tried our best.
Family time:
My Uncle Jim and Aunt Barb were both in town from Oregon and North Carolina, respectively. We had several opportunities to spend time with them while they were here. Lots of visiting and eating ... two of my favorite things!
Chloe and second (?) cousin Graham
River time:
We haven't had too many opportunities to get out on our boat this summer - life got busy! However, this weekend, we were able to get out on the river TWO times...once in our friend's boat and once in ours. The weather was fantastic and Annalise didn't fuss too much. :) I wish I had some photos of our excursions, but I forgot the camera both times. Instead, I will post a beautiful sunset from our front porch (taken two weeks ago).
And a couple of random shots of the girls taken in the last week:
Tomorrow is a big day - Chloe starts Farm School - stay tuned!

Annalise looks so grown up; she's change a lot since June! Hope Chloe has a fun day tomorrow. But fried pickles I can't quite imagine...... Cute photos.
